Keum Boo Tumbling Hares hollow form pendant – One of a Kind

Description

This simple but detailed One of a Kind pendant features a hollow form of etched sterling silver, with two tumbling hares; One of which is pierced from the surface of the form, and the other gilded with 23.5ct gold foil – a technique called Keum Boo. The pendant has also been oxidised black to really bring out the contrast between the colours and textures.

Please note that Oxidisation is not a permanent patina and may wear away through regular use. However, if required, it is very simple to re-colour the silver. (A service I offer to all existing customers.) Notes on how to look after your oxidised jewellery will be included upon purchase.

(Some long time followers may recognise this pendant as belonging to a much larger statement piece; and that is true. However the original necklace was too large and bulky to really be comfortable, so the decision was made to deconstruct and remake the necklace in a much more wearable form. I hope you approve!)
